On 26th Jan,I went to Rajpath to see the Republic Day Parade. Before the parade started there was a commentary about the development of India. India did this...indians did that..it was very interesting to listen that our country is growing very fast in current world scenario. When i was listening all this;some points about my country was wandering in my mind..I am mentioning those points here..so that somebody can give me the right answer for those points:
Electricity: most of the part in this country receive power supply less than 8 hrs a day...In home town during my school days, there were 16-20 hrs power supply a day,but now it is merely 8 hrs...how can we people feel that our india is growing??????
Government Babus: One can write volumes on the famous babus of India. They run one of the largest bureaucracies in the world, but are not been able to change their mindset. They can give you thousands reasons for "not to do a work".People has a mind-set here, that "sarkari Naukri" means a life-time"Aaram".
Historical Documents: If you want to read some original historical documents related to india, you have to go to a library that may be in soutn block or some Nehru,Indira named..........place and i am in doubt if you will get those piece of papers.
Politicians: The topic of politicians is an easy one. Everything appalling and more can be said of them and one will still remain below the truth. In their defense, they are part of a system which is uniquely based on votes. To win votes, one needs money and all compromises are permissible to get the required funds 'to serve the people'. It is true the world over, but here like in many other domains India excels.
Traffic: I hate the Indian traffic. There are so many flyovers in delhi to keep the traffic smooth..That is very good. But, at the end of the flyovers, traffic suddenly goes down..Reasons are many..may be the races of blue lines to get some passengers, may be a chat lover who parked his/her car on the roadside...
Corruption: It is better to not comment.
Apart from the above, India is an incredible place.I am proud to be an Indian. Hope one day, that day will come, when we will see our Incredible India. Perhaps that day I will not have any regret on the Janpath and I will write an incredible blog about "the wonder that is India".
